Supporting Our Community Since 1953
For 71 years talented amateurs from Pekin and the surrounding area have given their time and talent to entertaining people in our community by presenting a musical variety show. The proceeds from our performances support the arts and other non-profits. We are proud to have given monetary support of over $260,000 to these local organizations. Our chorus is comprised of 60-80 adults of all ages who enjoy singing and dancing to appreciative audiences that typically number around 2000 for our 4 performances.
Pekin Civic “Bicentennial” Chorus 2024
“Singing With the Stars”, was honored to perform in conjunction with the Pekin Bicentennial Celebration in 2024. PCC was the highlighted Bicentennial Event of the month, This was a great opportunity to help Pekin Celebrate 200 years!! If you performed, worked behind the scenes or were in the audience, ” Thank You”. We hope you enjoyed this fun-filled varity show and being a part of Pekin’s Bicentennial event!

Pekin Civic Chorus has been performing since 1953 and celebrated our 71st birthday this year. We’ve been singing and entertaining the Pekin Community and have given back monetarily over $260,000 to various non-profit organizations , especially our local schools in support of the Arts.
